About Samilou

Born in the South West as Samantha Louise. I grew up always involved in exercise and sports at school, this continued into my adult life. I joined the gym when I was 16 and have never looked back. In my teens I did my personal training qualification and also found a love for pole at an early age of 17. I become addicted straight away and got very good very quick which led me to teaching pole.

Around 2006 I met my soon to be husband who called me his SamiLou which is when my named changed. We then become parents in 2007 to our eldest son.

In 2009 I set up my own pole dancing studio which was one of the first established and it was called SamiLou's Studio.

In 2011 I became pregnant with our 2nd child and this was the year that my husband purposed to me and we tied the knot in 2012 when I was pregnant again with our 3rd child.

Being a mum of 3 and running my own business certainly kept me busy, I still trained in the gym 5 mornings a week whilst running 121 sessions and classes at my studio. My mum is a childminder and enjoyed helping me and my husband out.

I became qualified as a gymnastic coach level 1 in 2017 and enjoyed teaching at GymStars 1 evening a week. I also became a British Gymnastics WAG Club Judge which I enjoyed travelling around the country, watching and judging the competitions.

In 2018 I decided to focus on my training aiming for stage in the following year. I was so nervous but this was something I wanted to do for me. I was at a stage in my life when suddenly the children were all at school full time and I felt quite lonely, sad I know.

I stepped on stage in 2019 and in my 1st comp I took 1st place Open Bikini & 2nd place in 1st timers. I was so proud of myself.

In 2020 sadly due to my nan falling ill needing full time care and the lockdowns which started in 2020 I left Gymstars and didn't return however Frankie has always said I'm welcome back!

In 2021 I decided to step on stage again and won. I was PCA South West Bikini Master number 1.

At the end of 2022 with 13 years in Moordown, I decided to move to Iford, Christchurch to start my new chapter.

Which is where we are today, after nearly a year of planning and building, we could not be happier with the result and feel it is an amazing space to achieve your goals.

I believe that I can make a real difference in your fitness journey, whether its online coaching, pole, aerial hoop or personal training. I can and will help you. Join me and my Sistas today! You will never look back!
